We are looking
to take on new corporate contracts and would love
to hear from you via our sister site www.bluepearlmetalrecycling.co.uk if you have
industrial quantities of metal by-product
(however big or small) which you would be
interested in selling to us.

BCBC currently charge
£25.00 to collect upto 3 larger non-black bag items
with an additional £6.15 per item after that.
We
are happy to collect ANY amount of
metal based scrap FREE of charge.

We
can take all types of scrap metal. This includes
ferrous metals such as iron and steel, as well as
non-ferrous metals, small electrical goods,
domestic appliances and catalytic converters. While we can take an extensive range
of items, there are some we cannot take. For more
information on restricted items, please see
below.

FERROUS
METALS We
can take most ferrous metals (iron-based metals,
which are generally magnetic), including
domestic/household items, such as washing
machines, garden furniture, bikes as well as all
grades of steel and heavy iron from home
construction or improvements.

NON-FERROUS
METALS We
can take all grades of non-ferrous metal in any
form, including metals such as aluminium, brass,
copper, lead, tin, titanium and stainless steel.

domestic appliances, we are currently unable to
take fridges and freezers.

APPLIANCES We
are able to take small electrical goods and
appliances (waste electrical and electronic
equipment).

CATALYTIC CONVERTERS We can take both auto and industrial
catalytic converters.

PROHIBITED
ITEMS
|
The following materials cannot be
accepted because they remain the property of the
original owner or user:
- Dairy
trolleys/cages
- Shopping
trolleys
- Beer
kegs/casks
- Gas
cylinders - unless they have come through
authorised routes
Gas cylinders can
normally be returned to the supplier free of
charge and dairy trolleys/cages, beer kegs/casks
and shopping trolleys should be returned to the
dairy, brewery or supermarket from which they
originate.

The following additional items are
prohibited and cannot be taken:
- Asbestos
- Fridges and
Freezers
- Radioactive
materials or containers
- PCBs
(polychlorinated biphenyls)
- CFCs
(chlorofluorocarbons)
- Ammunition
shells or other explosive ordnance
